How Our On-site Shredding Service Works
The great advantage of our mobile service is the fact that we destroy all your confidential papers at your Groton CT premises. We have a fleet of state-of-the-art document destruction trucks. Our vehicles are equipped with industrial shredders that destroy three tons of paper per hour. All of your files will be completely destroyed before our truck leaves and you will be able to witness the process on a television screen on the side of the truck. Our staff will take the documents you want to be destroyed and place them in a bin. A bin is a 96-gallon container on wheels with a locking top. The bin will be taken to our mobile unit where the shredding system will empty and shred the documents. We will continue until all the documents you want shredded have been destroyed. Our on-site service is your most secure and convenient alternative.
We Have Great Document Destruction Options
One-Time Shredding for Corporate Clients
When a company only needs to destroy business records occasionally we offer our one-time service. This is the right option for companies that want to order professional mobile shredding intermittently. It lets you destroy files for a single project or anytime you have accumulated records you would like to securely dispose of. We can shred at any location you have business records. We are ready when you are.
How You’re Charged – By the 96-gallon bin we put your business records in and shred. The rate per bin is based on how much you have to shred. We have a one-bin minimum.
Scheduled Shredding for Businesses
Like most companies, you may be throwing away documents every day. If you’re one of those firms you need to put an ongoing document destruction program in place. The first step is to outfit your office with our locked containers. These bins and consoles stay in your office to use as necessary. On a regular schedule, we will arrive at your business location to empty the containers and immediately shred the documents. Your ongoing schedule can be any regular interval from daily to monthly.
How You’re Charged – We placed locked containers in your office rent-free. We charge only when we come to service them. The fee is based on the size containers provided.
Residential Shredding Monday to Saturday
You’re a target for identity thieves. Don’t make it easier for them by making the mistake of throwing away documents in with the household garbage. The majority of personal information being stolen on paper records comes from documents found in the trash. There is an easy way to prevent this by having all of your private papers destroyed at your Groton Connecticut home with our residential shredding service. All your documents will be destroyed by one of our commercial shredding trucks. We can come to your home every day of the week but Sunday to shred your documents.
How You’re Charged – Pay for each 96-gallon bin we shred with your papers. A one-bin minimum applies.
Hard Drive Destruction
If it’s time for a new computer it’s time to destroy the hard drive from the old one. The only way to guarantee that no one will have access to your information on a hard drive is to have it physically destroyed. FileShred will come to your Groton CT location and shred or crush your hard drive so it will be impossible to retrieve the data.
How You’re Charged – You’ll pay a fee for each hard drive we destroy. Minimums may apply.
