On-Site Paper Shredding – How It Works
When it’s the day of your document shredding appointment we come right to your Chester, Connecticut home or office. We’ll bring one of our industrial strength shredding trucks, and all of your files will be destroyed there before the truck leaves. Our helpful driver will place your papers into a locked bin to ensure the security of your information during the shredding process. Once loaded, the bin is then moved to the paper shredding truck. That’s where it will be lifted, and your documents will be emptied into the shredder. The cross-cut shredding blades will turn your private papers into small, unreadable particles. You also have the option to come to the truck with our driver. FileShred will let you see your documents being destroyed on a video monitor installed on the side of the truck.
Our State of the Art Shredding Truck Fleet
Our paper shredding trucks have the most advanced document destruction technology available. The industrial shredders have the power to shred 6,000 pounds of paper per hour. There is no faster or more convenient way to shred your confidential papers. The strong blades can also tear through staples, paper clips, binder clips, file fasteners, rubber bands, and three-ring binders up to one inch thick. That way you don’t have to remove them.

It’s Important To Shred Your Documents
Not shredding every piece of paper you are disposing of is an invitation for identity theft, a data breach, or corporate espionage. It also is a violation of federal and state privacy laws. Don’t expose yourself, your business, your clients, and your employees to those perils. Have every document you no longer need professionally shredded.
